I have been making a few changes with the goal of reducing our monthly cell phone bill.  Currently we pay about $120 to Verizon, and that includes a 20% discount.

1) We now have a home phone.  It is a monthly zero cost, using Google Voice and an Obi100 VOIP adapter.  That’s right, FREE. We are using the Google Voice number that I’ve had for the past couple of years.  xxx-xxx-2504.

2) we are soon switching from Verizon to Page Plus (via Kitty Wireless).  Page plus is a pay as you go service that uses Verizon’s infrastructure, so we can continue to use our current smartphones.  However we will eliminate the data plan and use WiFi where ever possible.  We are almost always near a WiFi connection, so this will be a minor annoyance when we are out and about.

Since our cell phones are pay-as-you-go, it would be helpful to us if you tried calling us at home first, unless you know that we are not home.

At 4 weeks of age, Nevaeh is 21.5 inches long and 10 1/2 lbs.  She’s grown 2 inches and 2 lbs since coming home from the hospital!

Seven seems to have a significance beyond its integer value. Creation occurred in seven days, with God resting on that seventh day. The bible also uses seven in many prophecies and teachings.

For me, Seven years ago I met my future wife.  The last seven years for me have been extremely significant!  We met* at a Halloween party hosted by the Peulens on Friday October 29th, 2004.  Seven days later, I asked Rachel for Sarah’s number. Then another seven days later, I actually called her.  We then began dating and falling in love, which hasn’t stopped yet.
